On June 23 and 24th, the Sunshine Centre at Luther Village on the Park will be visited by a survey team from CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as part of renewing our accreditation with them.
Accreditation is a voluntary process of using a set of best practice standards to help guide continuous quality improvement in areas such as strategic planning, human resources, resident input and care services. It involves measuring our practices and procedures against a set of market driven retirement home standards. If we measure up, we can say we are “accredited”.
