With growing interest in our community, we often get asked similar questions about retirement living. Today’s blog is the first in a series that provides answers to some of your most commonly asked questions.

As we get through these last few weeks of the Stay At Home order, our Wellness team continues to find creative ways to connect the Village community and bring people closer together.  This beautiful tree, located in our Atrium lobby, is symbolic.  It reminds us that despite being physically apart, we are together in spirit.  It displays messages of inspiration and hope from residents and team members - each unique leaf brings us closer to better, more connected times.

Our neighbor The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex is expanding! We had the opportunity recently to connect with our friend and community partner, Jaye Kuntz, Supervisor, Leisure Programs at The City of Waterloo to learn more about this project. We can hardly wait for this new space to open beside our campus!

The history of our lot that now houses our campus has a pretty interesting past. We decided to explore the story & history of our 20 acres. This story features some fun facts about 'The Sunshine Company'.

International Seniors’ Day, October 1! This story celebrates older adults living in Waterloo Region. The Waterloo Regions Age Friendly group asked 20 seniors to share some inspiration to celebrate International Senior's Day.

They had the participants reflect on the benefits of volunteering and giving back to their communities. Their answers were impactful, sincere and inspiring. Three of our residents were featured!

It is wonderful to see our residents take the lead and host groups that are important to them right here on site. The ‘Retired Women Teachers of Ontario’ have many chapters all over the province. Luther Village is where the Waterloo Chapter comes together as a few of our residents are members.
