We’ve had a musical and artistic start to May with a Spring concert and string quarter concert that many enjoyed. The Museum presentation was an insightful journey into the history of Waterloo Region and the many changes that have taken place over 200 years. It was wonderful to see all the hand-painted mugs at our Mug Painting Workshop arranged and led by our very own resident.
We celebrated all of our mothers and mother figures in our community at the Mother’s Day tea, filled with delicious scones, teas and majestic music.
We kept the celebratory mood alive with quenching ice cream sundaes later that week. To end the week, we were fortunate to host the Centre Stage Dance Performance here and what fun we had! We equally enjoyed the KW Silver Stars and ended the month with a Swing band.
Our visit to Langdon Hall was surely a hit, some referring to it as feeling like a “mini holiday”. We’re looking forward to our next visit soon!
We’re looking forward to June as we celebrate Pride Month and Father’s Day!
