Our Village is a subsidiary of Starling Community Services (formerly Lutherwood), a not for profit social service organization that provides a wide range of mental health, employment, housing and family support services. Starling Community Services annually serves more than 16,000 people in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. 

Luther Village on the Park has been in operation since 1997.  We are a single site retirement community with more than 450 residents benefiting from the extensive services and amenities offered. Residents residing within the Village can ‘age in place’ by transitioning from living an independent lifestyle to one with higher levels of service.  Residents are able to continue many of the facets of their lifestyle as they age, while remaining connected to family and friends.

The Starling Child and Family Foundation (formerly Lutherwood) was founded in 1981. The Board oversees strategic planning and governance matters to ensure high quality management and long-term sustainability of the Luther Village community. The senior leadership team is responsible for all operational matters and is available onsite to residents and their families.
