December is a month bustling with festivities, and we closed the year off with some fun and cheer!
Our month began with a visit from Help Mobility, facilitating informative workshops on mobility devices, including minor device adjustments at each session. We welcomed various performers and sang along to our holiday favourites to help us get in the holiday spirit. Our last-minute shoppers were able to get their festive outfits as we welcomed this month's clothing and jewelry vendors on site.
The Christmas and New Year's Eve services were meaningful and provided time to reflect on the season and the upcoming year. With the recognition that the holidays may bring joy and happiness to some, it is a time of grief for others. To support each other during this time, we offered the 'Colours of Christmas' Service to provide a space for remembrance and hanging personal messages to those we lost on our memory tree.
The Christmas Party with Kevin Coates was festive and joyful, with some even taking to the dance floor! Thank you to the Food Services and Activities Teams for the beautiful celebration. We closed off the year with a bang with our New Year's Party entertainment.
